Patrick Clark Morgan

Patrick Clark Morgan is an outstanding 2018 Graduate of East Grand Rapids High School. He plans on studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and has ambition to work for NASA or SpaceX after graduation.  Patrick has proven to be hard-working and dedicated to his studies as well as his involvement in sports and volunteer work within his community and school.

To be a class leader one must excel beyond academics.  He has shown leadership in Lacrosse, Tennis and Cross Country as well as the Entrepreneurship Club, Young Conservatives Club, Student Council, Key Club, Leadership & Youth Development Team, Model UN Delegate, Student Ambassador and Billy Bear Hug Youth Advisory Board.  In addition to an academic leader, Patrick had impressive letters of recommendation from his teachers:

Patrick‘s IB (International Baccalaureate) Physics instructor wrote “Patrick is one of the most effective students I teach.  He has excellent problem-solving skills and a first-rate mind.  More Importantly, he brings up the level of any group he works with.”

His IB Math instructor writes “Patrick is very focused, serious and discipline.  It is a rare occurrence that he does not receive 100% on an assignment. His intelligence, focus and discipline lead to a high degree of maturity that sets him apart from his classmates and they recognize this and respect him greatly for it.”

The Roger B. Chaffee Scholarship Fund is extremely proud to have Patrick Clark Morgan as its 51st Scholar.
