Stefan Neal Johnson is an outstanding 2016 graduate of Rockford High School. He plans on studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan, Cornell University or Columbia University where he may pursue his dream of a career designing the next generation of flight as an Aerospace Engineer. Stefan has proven to be hard-working and dedicated to his studies as well as his involvement and volunteer work within his community and school.
In addition to being an academic leader and ranked 2nd in his class, Stefan had impressive letters of recommendation from his AP instructors.
Stefan’s AP Physics instructor wrote ”Stefan excelled in my class. He is very goal oriented and motivated to achieve. Our tough material came easily to him.”
Stefan’s Calculus instructor writes “Stefan is a very intelligent and nice individual who has done well in my classes.
I’m sure his future will be bright because of his capabilities. He is very bright.”
To be a class leader one has to excel beyond academics and Stefan has certainly met that challenge. He is involved in Varsity Lacrosse as well as Captain of the Blythfield Basketball Association. Stefan is also the Co-founder/Leader of the Rockford Outdoors Club. In addition to being a member of the National Honor Society, Stefan has also volunteered at Bridgeway Community Church, Hillview Tutoring Center & the Urban Family Ministries.
